Happy 5th Birthday Samantha!!

Our little Samantha turned the big 5 this last week. Mom Amy and Aunt Sarah were able to celebrate her birthday at least three times that day. Once at her daycare provider Julie's house. Another time at her school at Central, and the last later on with the family. She was really excited for her presents including a lot of Disney Princess dolls, Pet shop toys, and the big surprise hit a booster seat. She was very intrigued by the juice holder.



The last picture is of Sarah's new *to me* car. That she got last weekend. She has so far kept up with barring any food or drinks to be allowed inside, since it the interior is like new.

McCrory Gardens part 2

More cute pictures from our excursion to the park. And actually, the one of Samantha with the daisies was taken by Aunt Sarah a few weeks ago, but she's wearing the same shirt and she's smiling so I'm including it!

Supermodel session

I took the girls to our lovely McCrory Gardens on Sunday and managed to get a few good pictures. Samantha didn't want to cooperate much but we still had fun!

Been meaning to post these forever

Just two quick pictures I've been meaning to post for awhile. One is of Lisa & Bob enjoying a rousing game of beanbag toss. The second is of Taylor's 5th grade "culmination" breakfast. She won a Presidential Academic Fitness award - Gold Level. We're so proud of our little nerd:) And the third is Taylor and Amy getting ready to watch the Hannah Montana 3-D movie - woo-hoo!

New Pictures of the girls!!

Here are a few new pictures of Taylor and Samantha. Taylor's are her cheerleading picture - she's in her 3rd year of competition with her team Universal Cheer Pink Passion - and her 5th grade spring picture (when did they start doing "spring" pictures and will they never stop coming up with ways for Mom to spend money???). Samantha's are pictures we had taken at Sears - too darn cute for words!!!

Sarah and Samantha's Excellent Adventure

This last weekend I had some visitors up for Saturday and Sunday since Taylor had a big cheer competition on Sunday. Samantha and I decided that it would be too crazy at the Arena so we decided to chill at home and later go to a movie, Enchanted. We also went to the library and got an Elmo book. I couldn't forget my cat, Hella, who really struggles with sharing the house and my attention with the nieces. Later we made pictures and I created this one of us two. I did it under the careful direction of Samantha of course. This missing shoe on Samantha is a completely different long story.

When it was time to go home later in the afternoon she didn't want to leave. "I stay here." It made me happy.

Well the holidays are over and almost everything is put away except for dad's trees. They are still up, however Bob only puts them on every once and awhile. Nathan took a really good picture of the side of the yard that I am putting up now.
