A little bit of a catch up

It has been since October since anyone (aka. me)has updated the family blog. That could be because Facebook has basically met needs to share day to day life and photos. But I still like the blog and I don't want it to die out!

Some of the highlights of the last month include

Dad's Trees. Of course! He had/has a total of 63 up this year. He was even mentioned on Keloland's website. Who knows how many he will put up next year!?



The Wii game system was a gift for the Liebing household and Nathan has one that lately has been staying at the parents house. I (Sarah) even convinced mom to try it and she had fun bowling. Here are the pictures of the unwrapping on Christmas Eve.




No picture of it- but it must be noted that Lisa Hurd is now on Facebook. She is slowly learning how to maneuver her way around and learning the jargon.

And lastly the most important news for my mom at least- is the new carpet in the living room, upstairs hallway, and stairs. She is in love with the carpet. It was much needed seeing as the previous carpet was from Amy's high school graduation. And seeing as she just turned 37, it has been a long time!




And lastly- I have started a new fashion trend. You may have seen it recently on the head of a famous diva? Just kidding- I had too much fun adding the Aretha hat to my picture and my cat Hella's picture.

Happy 5th Birthday Samantha!!

Our little Samantha turned the big 5 this last week. Mom Amy and Aunt Sarah were able to celebrate her birthday at least three times that day. Once at her daycare provider Julie's house. Another time at her school at Central, and the last later on with the family. She was really excited for her presents including a lot of Disney Princess dolls, Pet shop toys, and the big surprise hit a booster seat. She was very intrigued by the juice holder.



The last picture is of Sarah's new *to me* car. That she got last weekend. She has so far kept up with barring any food or drinks to be allowed inside, since it the interior is like new.

McCrory Gardens part 2

More cute pictures from our excursion to the park. And actually, the one of Samantha with the daisies was taken by Aunt Sarah a few weeks ago, but she's wearing the same shirt and she's smiling so I'm including it!

Supermodel session

I took the girls to our lovely McCrory Gardens on Sunday and managed to get a few good pictures. Samantha didn't want to cooperate much but we still had fun!

Been meaning to post these forever

Just two quick pictures I've been meaning to post for awhile. One is of Lisa & Bob enjoying a rousing game of beanbag toss. The second is of Taylor's 5th grade "culmination" breakfast. She won a Presidential Academic Fitness award - Gold Level. We're so proud of our little nerd:) And the third is Taylor and Amy getting ready to watch the Hannah Montana 3-D movie - woo-hoo!
